Very nice people! My dog always comes home exhausted from playing all day!

Great place, great staff, my dog comes back tired every time after playing at daycare all day.

Metropet is an excellent, safe place to bring your beloved furchild. They are a daycare facility that also does boarding, grooming and nail cutting. It is a safe environment for your pet, with friendly, knowledgeable staff and super clean. You know your pet is safe here because they only let dogs in who: 1) are up to date on vaccines/heartworm/flea and tick medications -you need to bring your vet records for proof, they will need a copy of it. 2) all of the staff is trained in animal CPR and a majority of the staff are trainers and can understand body language/behaviors of dogs. 3) they take the time to get to know each and every dog that goes there by giving an assesment for a "trial" day to assess their personality/friendliness/temperament with different scenerios before they are allowed to mingle with the other dogs. Then one by one they let other dogs do a meet and greet to feel each other out. Once your dog is comfortable and passes all of the tests, then and only then is your dog allowed to join the larger groups. If your dog doesn't pass a certain number of these tests or doesnt have a good temperament, they are not allowed into the daycare facility for safety of your dog and others. It is a lot bigger than it looks from the front, because all the small breeds and puppies are in the front of the building and larger dogs are in the back or outside, it is deeper than it is wide. If you have never been there before and are interested in their daycare, you need to call and make an appointment because they are always so busy and need to have proper ratio of staff to dogs at all time for safety. Once you make the appointment, only you-not your pet- comes first, for a tour of the place and a "meeting" as you walk to answer any questions you may have. This first visit is free. If all goes well, they work with you to schedule a day when your pet can come in for a half a day for an evaluation to see if they qualify to attend. They do a thorough screening of all dogs and their temperament, see how they handle certain situations and how well they know commands, among many other things before they are allowed to meet with any other dog (only if they pass of course). You are given a copy of this test when you pick up your pooch. If all goes well, you are now a member of the Metropet family, which is the best adopted fur family you could ever hope for. They have fantastic hours and are very accomodating. There is even a "lunch" time so to speak where all the dogs are crated when they eat (for safety of fighting over food or dogs sharing food that they cannot eat) and lets their stomach settle before they go back out and play. I love that we get pictures of his day and a "Report Card" e-mailed to us at the end of everyday our dog attends to let us know his mood that day ( i.e. happy, playful, excited..) , if he ate his food ( you need to provide your dogs food and bring a doggie bag/lunch for your pooch..there are too many dogs who may have allergies, special diets or diet restrictions, they do not get into that and I don't blame them, but they do provide all the clean water your pet could ever want.), if they went to the bathroom and a few other insights. You can set up a pre paid number of visits or pay as you go, but always call ahead before you bring your dog if you do not have a pre paid schedule in place. Again, for safety they can only accept as many dogs as they have room for and enough staff- to- dog ratio to cover all the different areas of the building for non stop coverage. Dogs are never left unattended or unwatched. This is hands down, the best facility out out there I wouldn't trust sny other place for my dog. They are friendly, animal lovers themselves, clean facility, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, thorough and educated. My dog LOVES it there, can't wait to get inside once we pull into the parking lot, and comes home exhausted from playing his heart out.

They take great care of my dog, and send a report card and pictures every day. My dog seems so happy and comes home tired, which is awesome when you have a black lab. You should take your dog here!

Our dog Cooper loves going to MetroPet. Awesome facility and awesome staff. I HIGHLY recommend MetroPet
